Maha Shivaratri means \"The Night of Shiva\". The ceremonies take place chiefly at night. This is a festival observed in honour of Lord Shiva. This festival celebrates the marriage Shiva and Parvati. This is the night when Shiva is said to have performed the Tandava or the dance of primordial creation, preservation and destruction. Devotees chant the Panchakshara Mantra as it is said he who utters the Names of Shiva during Shivaratri, with perfect devotion and concentration is freed from all sins. He reaches the abode of Shiva and lives there happily. He is liberated from the cycle of births and deaths. Many pilgrims flock to the places where there are Shiva temples.
Sunday 18th March 2018 - Chet Chaala Mela Baba Balak Nath Ji:Indian month Chet falls in the middle of March. On this date Baba Balak Nath Ji went into Guffa & was blessed by the Gods. In Chet, anyone who comes to the Guffa has their wishes fulfilled and it\'s celebrated the same way at this Mandir.
Sunday 17th June 2018 - Anniversary of Moorti Sathapna Devas:The Mandir will be celebrating the Anniversary of Moorti Sathapna Devas. Pooja and Havan will be performed from 9:30 onwards. Shri Ganesh Jee, Shri Guru Dattariya Jee, Mata Sheranwall Jee, Shri Radha Krishna Jee, Shri Shiva Parvati Jee, Shri Raja Bharthari Raja Jee and Shri Hanuman Jee.
Tuesday 16th October 2018 - Celebration of Jagran Durga Ashtami in a Navaratri:Navaratri is nine days when we thank the female principle of nature and the goddesses connected to them. Evenings and nights were chosen as the ideal times to celebrate this festival. On one night, on Ashtami, a Jagran is also dedicated to Mata Ji and this is where devotees stay up all night, singing the goddesses praises. This is also performed at the Mandir in Walsall.
Sunday 16th December 2018 - Anniversary of Mandir Baba Balak Nath Opening:On the Jetha Ravivaar of Indian month Poh (18th December) 1983 the Mandir Baba Balak Nath, Walsall was officially declared open by Shri 1008 Mahant Shiv Giri Ji Maharaj of Guffa Shri Baba Balak Nath, DeotSidh, Hamirpur, H.P., India and is the only recognized temple (by the Guffa) dedicated to Shri Baba Balak Nath Ji outside of India. Every year on Jetha Ravivaar of Indian month Poh (Mid December) this anniversary is celebrated.
